This easy chocolate frosting recipe is perfect for brownies (like these avocado brownies!), cake, cupcakes, and more. Because this has an applesauce base, this is a more fruit-forward chocolate frosting!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 C melted coconut oil
- 1/2 C cacao powder
- 1/2 C applesauce (unsweetened)
- 3 Tbsp date syrup*
*can substitute maple syrup or honey
Instructions:
Mix ingredients together in a blender until smooth. Put in fridge for ~20 minutes to firm up - then it's ready to spread!
