These ooey gooey and oh so delicious avocado based brownies are a nutrient dense, healthy alternative to your classic recipe!
- 1 large avocado (ripe)
- 2 eggs (sub with flax eggs for vegan)
- 1/3 C almond or other nut butter
- 2/3 C cacao powder
- 1 C date syrup (sub with honey or maple syrup)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325. Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour batter into a parchment lined baking pan and smooth until even layer.
Bake for ~45 min (to confirm it's ready, put toothpick in and it should come out clean when you pull it out). Let cool, then enjoy!
