Here are two DIY hand sanitizers that you can make at home! While we believe the best option is always soap and water, these are great options to throw in your car or bag for when you're on the go.
Recipe 1 is alcohol-free, and uses an amazing mix of essential oils that are good for cleaning and sanitizing. This recipe's our favorite, but if you don't have a cupboard full of essential oils, it might be a little more difficult to get all of the ingredients for!
Recipe 2 uses ingredients commonly found around the house.
Recipe 1: Essential Oil / Alcohol Free Blend
- 10 drops Lavender Oil
- 5 drops Siberian Fir Oil
- 5 drops Ravintsara Oil
- 5 drops Tea Tree Oil
- 2 drops Peppermint Oil
- 2 oz Aloe Vera Gel
Recipe 2: Household Basics Blend
- 1/2 C isopropyl alcohol
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel (sub water is you don’t have this)
- 30-40 drops essential oils of choice (whatever you like the small of!)
