This green bowl is a great way to get your greens and superfoods early in the day. Our team member Kate S. has been making this bowl for years, and loves it because as she adds more Sun & Swell superfood toppings it only gets better and can be easily modified with whatever you have on hand.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 handful of kale
- 1 cup plant milk (almond, walnut, hemp, cashew)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp hemp hearts (can be blended in or added on top)
- 1 Medjool date
- 1/4 cup almond butter
Toppings
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp goji berries
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1/4 cup cashews
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender.
- Start on medium and use stirring stick or spoon to mix together.
- Continue to blend and gradually increase speed until mixing smoothly.
- Scoop into a bowl and add chia seeds, goji berries, cacao nibs, cashews and banana on top.
