These are great for a quick side dish, a colorful addition to salads or rice, or as some added texture to pureed soups.
Petite Crimsons cook in 5 to 10 minutes, transforming into golden pearls when completely done.
Note: These are produced in a facility that also processes wheat.

Ingredients & Cooking Instructions
Organic Crimson Lentils
To cook:
- Rinse lentils.
- Add to the saucepan with water, bring to a rapid simmer and then reduce heat to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes until lentils are tender and no longer crunchy.

This bag will decompose in an Industrial Compost facility with 90 days. It is also approved for home composting by our supplier, but timeline varies greatly based on conditions (humidity, moisture, etc). More information here.
