Recipe: Almond Butter Cups
- 2 Tbsp natural sweetener of your choice (we use date syrup or honey)
- 2 Tbsp raw cacao
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- Almond butter
- Optional: pinch of salt
- Optional: banana (sliced)
Blend together cacao, natural sweetener, melted coconut oil, and salt (optional) to make chocolate shell. Pour chocolate into bottom of mini baking cups and let sit in freezer for 10 minutes, until hard.
Spoon in almond butter, then top with chocolate and place back in freezer for 10 minutes.
Optional: place a banana slice under the almond butter before adding top layer of chocolate!
Keep in freezer until ready to serve.
