2-Ingredient Dried Apricot & Chia Jam

This dried apricot and chia seed jam is so simple, fresh, and delicious. With only two ingredients and a few simple steps, you can create a tasty jam that is free of refined sugar, but still sweet from the dried apricots. This recipe is perfect for a cheese board, on a almond butter & jam sandwich, or on a toast!

Instructions

  1. Soak apricots in warm water for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Blend apricots and water in high speed blender. 
  3. Heat mixture over stove on medium high, when mixture starts to bubble, reduce heat to medium.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring with wooden spoon until you reach a jam-like consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and add chia seeds.
  6. Let jam sit for 10 minutes before consuming - the chia seeds will thicken consistency.

Can be served right away or stored in a mason jar.
