- 3 medium tomatoes
- ½ medium red onion
- 2 serrano peppers, stems, ribs, and seeds removed
- Juice of one lime
- ½ chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1 pinch cumin powder
- Roughly chop the tomatoes, peppers, and onions (set aside some seeds from the peppers if you want to make the salsa hotter!
- Add salt, pepper, oregano, cilantro, lime and cumin to taste (let sit for 1 hour for best flavor)
